First impressions are everything, and you’ll be sure to amaze your visitors with your new website's homepage!
Homepage features, such as the extra large slider, custom homepage widgets, “Quote box” and inclusion of your Discography make your websites homepage unique, modern and beautiful.
Of course, all of the homepage features are editable, and can even be turned off in the admin section of the theme.
Here are some of the homepage elements included in the MyBandTheme template:
- Extra large slider: Make a lasting impression by showcasing your best material to your website visitors. You can choose what content to place in the slider, be it pictures of your latest concert, marketing material, your latest YouTube video, or band member biographies.
The possibilities are unlimited. - Quote box: The attractive quote box is perfect for showcasing your slogan, or even a Rolling Stones magazine article headline written about your band. It will surely be read thanks to the large, yet elegant typeface used.
But of course, if you don’t feel like quoting anything, you can just disable the Quote box. - Widgetized area: Harness the power of WordPress widgets on your homepage with the 3 widgetized areas under the slider. You can put anything into the widgets, for example your Concert tour schedule, your Facebook fan page, posts from your blog, your newest album, etc.
- Discography: The discography section of the homepage integrates with the powerful Albums module of MyBandTheme, so you’ll be able to showcase any number of albums on your homepage as well. This is a great attention-grabber as well, and will direct your visitors straight to your music.
- Blogroll: Place your blogroll, news, or whatever you want onto the homepage of your MyBandTheme powered site with the click of a button. You can specify which post categories should appear on the front page, and which shouldn't.
